The new "Jumper Overview" from KOA / Thick Film, High Current

Applications:

for XR73Z Series:  Communication module, Semiconductor packaging substrate, Smart phone, Tablet PC, Notebook PC, Wearable Device, etc.

for SLZ Series: Automotive; PC Note PCs, Battery packs, AC Adapters, DC-DC converters, etc.

Thick Film SMD Jumper (RK73Z, XR73Z)

- No additional layer will be used, when two traces have to cross on the same side of the PCB.
 – Different circuit configurations using the same PCB layout.
 – They can be placed on the PCB using the same
pattern and automated equipment used for standard SMD devices.

RK73Z Series – SMD Jumper

  • Small and light weight.
  • Excellent heat resistance and weather resistance
  • High stability and high reliability
  • Applicable to various kinds of automatic mounters for taping, etc.
  • Suitable for both flow and reflow solderings

XR73Z Series – Embedded Jumper

  • Thick film jumper for mounting inside the PCB or substrate
  • Low profile of 0.14 mm height
  • Cu via hole connection is applicable by the Cu electrode

High Current Jumper (SLZ, TLRZ)

- In high power applications a conventional Zero-Ohm resistor may be not be able to handle the higher currents. The SLZ and TLRZ series from KOA can carry currents up to 44 A.
 – Additionally, these two series can be used for large current patterns with low impedance requirements.

SLZ Series – Molded Jumper

  • SMD type of small size, ultra-low resistance (3mO÷) and high accuracy (±0.5%) resistor for current sensing
  • Encapsulated with flame retardant resin molding (UL94 V-0)
  • Excellent dimension accuracy, mountability and shockresistance
  • Excellent terminal strength and solderability
  • Easy to absorb the thermal expansion and shrinkage
  • Suitable for flow, reflow and iron solderings.
  • EU-RoHS comliant
  • AEC-Q200 qualified

TLRZ Series – Metal Plate Jumper

  • SMD type of small size, metal plate low resistance resistor for current detection
  • Low height suitable for use of Small equipment such as mobile phone.
  • High reliability and performance with T.C.R ±100×10-6/K.
  • Suitable for reflow soldering
  • EU-RoHS compliant
  • AEC-Q200 qualified
