Relais
Produktübersicht
Ein Relais ist ein durch elektrischen Strom betriebener, elektromagnetisch wirkender, Schalter und arbeitet nach dem Prinzip des Elektromagneten. Das Relais wird über einen Steuerstromkreis aktiviert und kann weitere Stromkreise schalten. Fließt Strom durch die Spule, wird ein elektrisches Magnetfeld aufgebaut und der am Ende der Spule angebrachte ferromagnetische Anker wird angezogen. Durch die Anziehung des Ankers werden zwei Kontaktfedern miteinander verbunden und es schließen sich die sogenannten Arbeitskontakte im Relais (Schließer).
Je nach Bauart werden bei der Entstehung des magnetischen Feldes die sogenannten Ruhekontakte geöffnet (Öffner). Auch Kombinationen von Öffner und Schließer sind möglich, diese werden Wechsler genannt. Der Anker wird, sobald die Spule nicht mehr erregt ist, durch die in den Federn gespeicherte Kraft wieder in seine ursprüngliche Lage versetzt und ruht hier, bis erneut Strom durch die Spule fließt.
