Trade fair review of "PCIM 2024" in Nuremberg

From June 11 to 13, 2024, we had the pleasure of presenting our latest products and solutions at PCIM Europe, one of the leading international trade fairs for power electronics, intelligent drive technology and renewable energy systems, including our high-performance DC-Link Film Capacitor, Snap-in Capacitor, Power Inductor, Discrete Power Semiconductor, Power Semiconductor Modules, Power Relay, Power Connector and much more.

We at Beck Elektronik are very grateful for all the visitors who talked to us at the booth, met us or saw us again. We are very pleased that our products aroused so much enthusiasm and interest and will remember this trade fair as a great experience.

Leapers 900A/1200V Modul

One highlight at our booth was the 900A/1200V Modul, developed by Chinese power module specialist Leapers Semiconductor Co., Ltd., which has been specially developed for applications with water cooling. The half-bridge IGBT module in an ED3 package features an innovative backside with pin fins for improved heat transfer, enabling higher power density. The Si3N4 AMB substrate also offers higher mechanical strength and thermal conductivity. The integrated high-performance IGBTs from the Chinese chip manufacturer HHgrace, which are used in large quantities in Chinese electric vehicles, guarantee a real alternative and security of supply thanks to their independence from established chip sources.

Chemi-Con Common-Mode-Chokes

At the trade fair, we proudly presented our new range of common-mode chokes, normal-mode filters and nanocrystalline toroidal cores from our new Japanese manufacturer Chemi-Con. These innovative common-mode chokes, which use nanocrystalline ring cores instead of ferrite cores, are characterized by a volume reduction of over 50% and a weight that is almost halved. Thanks to the higher permeability factor, fewer windings are required, which reduces the DC resistance (DCR) by up to 40%. These advanced components filter out asymmetrical interference and ensure interference-free signal transmission and compliance with EMC directives in numerous applications such as power supplies, data transmission systems, industrial control systems and automobiles.

CviLux connectors for high voltage and high currents

Visitors were also able to view our new connectors for high voltage and high currents from the V-Conn series from CviLux. The CPF1, CPF2 and CPF3 models can be used in a wide range of applications, for example in energy storage systems, renewable power plants, traditional power generation, large and small networks and sub-distribution boards. These connectors are also used in transportation, consumer goods and building services. The patented connectors with detachable locking are available in different power ratings: from 400V 150A up to 1500V 700A. These innovative connectors from CviLux attracted a great deal of interest at our booth.
