Solid connectors for high voltage & high current

CviLux presents connectors for high voltage and high currents in a solid design.

The CPF1, CPF2 and CPF3 types of the V-Conn series can be used for "energy storage", i.e. regenerative power plants, traditional power generation, large and small networks and associated sub-distributors. The connector can also be used in transportation, consumer goods and building technology.

The plug connectors with a detachable locking mechanism are patented and available for the following power levels:

  • 400V 150A
  • 600V 300A
  • 1000V 300A
  • 1500V 700A

UL certificates in accordance with UL4128 (connectors in electrochemical battery system applications) and UL1977 (safety connectors for the transmission of data, signals and control and power applications) are available.

The connectors are characterized by high vibration resistance, many mating cycles (up to 3000) and clear mating (fixed position) through coding. Furthermore, a degree of protection of up to IPX5 can be guaranteed if required.

Type CPF1 is used as an example:

  • >400N holding force when engaged
  • Protection class IPX5 engaged
  • Possible disassembly only via remote release
  • High-voltage contacts
  • 12 contacts for signal transmission
  • USB 3.2 connection for data transmission
  • Unlocking active mechanical or electromagnetic (12V)
