Lextar Electronics extends its Product Line with the new Flip Chip COB, “Polaris”, and has now deployed the widest COB product line in the industry.

Besides the common advantages of the COB Line, CRI values of 80+ and 90+ for all power ranges and Hot Color Targeting, the Polaris Series bears better over-drive capability and intensifies product stability by using ceramic substrate. It also minimizes the light emitting surface (LES) to up to 50% compared to conventional COB which enables it to feature high lumen density.

The substrate sizes range from 13.35x13.35mm with LES of 6mm (PB13H01) over 15.85x15.85mm with LES of 9mm (PB18H01) up to 17.85x17.85mm with LES of 12mm (PB50H02).

The new flip chip COB is available in three versions: PB13H01 (13W), PB18H01 (18W), PB25H02 (25W), PB38H01 (38W) and PB50H02 (50W). All power-ranges are available in the colour-temperatures 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 5000K.

This new product is especially suitable for commercial and professional lighting where high brightness and concentrated lighting angle are necessary, such as PAR lamps and track lights.
